I'm Kim Carr, I'm 18. Short hair, it's blue at the moment. I have blue eyes and i'm about 5'3" and a half yadda yadda.

I love music. I love playing it, I love listening to it. I'm in a band called Intrepid. My favourite artists include: David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, CSNY, Iggy and the Stooges, The Velvet Underground, Queen, The Eurythmics, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Arcade Fire, The Who, Tame Impala, Martha and the Vandellas...and so forth.

I love doodling too. And photoshop. And Nikon SLRs. Drumming, guitaring, bassing, pianoing, saxing, fluting, singing, painting, sketching, photographing. I'm 100% arts child.

No One’s Following Me

So I’m speaking with Darian, and we’re having a simple conversation about cut-up songs, and then I remember way back in high school, my friends and I wrote one. I tried writing music to it, but then I remembered how legendary Moonage Daydream is, and the fact it’s  a cut up song.

and I cried.

Exquisite conundrum
You say that Communist regime must fall, one day
Like some dirty old alligator lady
Simply a cankerous whore, banished from existence

A psychedelic sound check, that’s irrelevant
Who spotted that pot full of awesome sauce?
Must be the day of the dead
and the sweet smell of blueberries

Branches of society
And you all just watch the perverts falling to space
Just a bastard child of Satan
Performing jazz hand shenanigans

Subtle whispers of love
Which scars us all
Hypocrisy; a ballad for fools
Who knows me best
